Byzantine Cannibal Final Concept (unfinished)

This is my final concept piece for my Byzantine Cannibal's secret lair. The recent addition of detailing on the background wall is a mix of photographs and hand drawn detailing, It portrays a scene unique to my vulture cult and allows me to show my audience their lore and history through imagery.

Sacrificial Chamber Final Concept Tweaks

This is an assortment of different adjustments made to my final concept piece after making the mosaics on the back walls more opaque and adding coloured lighting. Each one is a little bit different and feedback on which seems more suitable or closer to something that is more finished is appreciated.

City Final Concept Piece

This is my final concept painting for the city scene in Metropole. To emphasise the expressionistic influence in this piece I decided to use an unrealistic representation of buildings to portray this warped landscape. I found that heavy greens and blues conveyed the blunt sadness I was looking for in this scene.

Musician's Crowd Final Concept Piece

This is my final concept piece for Metropole's crowd scene. The large amount of colour used in this piece for both characters and the air around them symbolically represent the flow of emotion, the musician in the centre is bright red and orange to emphasise him as a focal point of the scene. The crowd is all draw manually because this gave the effect I intended for the scene, I experimented with a custom brush but found this didn't add to the effect and instead only served to confuse my audience and male the scene unreadable.

Graveyard Final Concept Piece

This is my final design for my graveyard scene and I am absolutely pleased with the outcome. I used influences from many of my thumbnails, like the colour scheme, composition and such. This piece is also proof of happy accidents in Photoshop, with the rain dashed background being a pleasing mishap that works extremely well with the rest of image and was most likely the most defining component during the making of it.
