Hello Kyle, this sounds interesting but what is the narrative of your soundscape? Are you trying to tell a story, if so what emotions do you want your viewers to experience as they watch your animatic? Is your piece entirely abstract or do you want to convince viewers that they are entering into certain spaces or environments? Think about the ambient and background noises that might help connect viewers to the various locations you are proposing. Don't worry to much about trying to create 'extremely dramatic' changes, aim for 'convincing and believable' - you only have 60 seconds to sell your idea to the viewer.
Hi Tony, I am aiming for a more abstract approach but seat the parts away from the carnival in a realistic location. I think the story behind this will be relatively simple. with the progression of events on screen perhaps being all there is to it and I will definitely investigate the use of ambient and background noise to achieve seating these certain sections. Thanks!
